Error: Connect to ssas 2008 R2 cube through excel 2010

I am trying to connect to a SSAS 2008 R2 cube via Excel 2010 I built on server A that I only have access through a VPN.

When I enter the informaion required to connect to the database server, I get the following error. I am using a windows username and password on server A since it is not on our domain.

I have ensured that I have SQLBrowser service running. I can conncet just fine to a SSAS Instance on my network just fine.

Anyone else run into this issue?

This problem happened me when I was not in the domain.

Are you connected to VPN and then connected to cube?

Yeah the server/cube I am trying to connect to is not in our domain. I only have access to the server/cube via a VPN tunnel.
