Is task factory a server based license? So, we get a new employee, a new PC, how do we get task factory tasks to show up in the Visual Studio SSIS tool box?
I am executing SSIS package on my local machine that has a TF upsert task. Does that work because I have task factory on my local machine?
To get Task Factory to show up in the tool box you will want to go to either in your current tool box and right click and select Choose Items or you can go to the Tools Menu and select Choose Toolbox Items. Once inside of there, click on the SSIS Control Flow Items and then the SSIS Data Flow Items. Scroll down until you see the unchecked boxes that start with TF. Select thoses and click OK. Your new tool box items should be there. You can have the tasks download to your pc and develop you packages, but you will need it to be licensed to the server that you are executing your packages from.
Thank you !! Is there a Pragmatic works web site I can get a contact from to inquire about our license status.
Thanks
