I have tried to upload a picture to a forum post a couple of times and I have been stumped both times. The insert edit image dialog asks only for a URL, and does not appear to allow browsing to a local file. Is it possible to upload an image file to a forum that is not a web based image?
Thanks
To upload a picture to a forum post, you must first upload the picture to BIDN using the Choose Files to Upload button up above where you type your message. Then copy and paste the link into the Insert Image dialogue box.
There was a security piece that was preventing this. It's all fixed now.

I don't see this button on the Forum post screen. I do see it on the Blog post screen. Any help?
This is the button I am talking about.
If you still cannot see this button then there is an issue with BIDN.
The "Choose files to upload..." button is not present when replying to a forum post. I've tried as well, but never have been able to do it. Dustin, can you see if a NON-ADMIN can see the button. I just sent you a screenshot of this.
I was also trying to make a new forum thread, and the button was not visible to me there either. Thanks.

Any progress on this? If I could upload a picture, I would upload a screen shot showing that the "Choose Files to Upload" button is missing on the forums for us regular folks.
I've reported the issue to Communifire so hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

This issue has been resolved in the upcoming build of communifire. The update should be applied tomorrow so this should be fixed. We'll see.

Hi,
The issue has been fixed. Can you please check now ?Thanks,Raghav
Yes, I was able to upload a picture a week or so ago.
Awesome.. This will help people with their posts and replies. Sometimes it is easier just showing a picture than it is describing it. :)
And a shot of a great character from Mr. Deeds proves the point.
Great!
