Sometimes I wondered why after setting up my page size under SSRS properties, Adobe PDF won't show my expected page size in the dialog box. For example if I want to print using "Legal" instead of "Letter" paper size, the Print dialog box shows "letter."
I have found the answer:
According to Adobe Acrobat XPro:
"It’s important to distinguish between page size (as definedin the source application’s Document Setup dialog box for your document) and paper size (the sheetof paper, piece of film, or area of the printing plate you’ll print on). Yourpage size might be U.S. Letter (8-1/2-by-11 in. or 21.59-by-27.94 cm), but youmight need to print on a larger piece of paper or film to accommodate anyprinter’s marks or the bleed area. To ensure that your document prints asexpected, set up your page size in boththe source application and the printer." (Bolded fonts aremine)
Therefore, after making sure that your property settings selectionshows "Legal" under "Paper size" under SSRS ReportProperties, you then go to the Adobe Application--Print--> on the dialogbox, you will see "Choosepaper source by PDF page size"--> Check this box. Thiswill allow you to print mixed paper sizes as you wish to set your paper sourcein SSRS reports.
NOTE: I am currently using Adobe Reader 9.5 version
