Viewing Header / Footer Values in Excel after Exporting from SSRS

Today’s question in my SSRS class warrants a blog.  The question was:

“Why can’t I see my text box that I placed in my footer of
my report, when I export the report to Excel?”

Well, after much research today I realized that it was a
common issue that many people are having. 
I did place a sample text box with “Test Text Text” in the footer.  I exported it to excel.  At first glance, you can see the header
objects, but not the footer objects.  I
did a print preview and could see the footer object.

Based on what I read and I am in Excel 2007, if you Click
the View Tab, and select Page Layout, you will see the footer objects.

If you have any other work arounds, please feel free to
submit them to me.
