Over the last few years, I've done more and more public speaking, at user groups, Training the Ts with Pragmatic Works, at SQL Saturdays, at Sharepoint saturdays, and even at the ITWeb BI conference, and in 2011, for the first time, I tried to get a slot at #SQLPASS
I didn't get it, so this year I am going to approach the task of getting a speaking slot much more strategically.
And the way I'm going to do this is two-fold : firstly, many many more speaking slots, at least one webinar a month, and at least one live speaking engagement every month (more, when I can)
Secondly, I want to get much more proactive with how I manage *what* topics I present, and I'd like you to help me out.
On this (and future) blog posts, I'm going to list the topics I'm thining of presenting : for #SQLBits, #SQLPASS, for #TechEd, and for #Sharepoint2012, and also for #SQLSAT and #SPSat events, and I'd like to get feedback on each topic. I will also be presenting these as webcasts , and getting feedback to improve each one.
So, if you would, take a look through my topics below, and tell me which event you think I should punt it for. Right, I'm dropping any topic I think of onto the list, with the idea that by the end of 2011 I'll have chosen the ones I want to perfect.
I will be updating the topics, I still need to upload decks, abstracts etc.
<edit> I've added a category column, as I'll be using this as my master list for all presentations this year</edit>
