I had the pleasure of attending my first SQL Saturday on 4/28/12 and I had no idea of what to expect from this event. So I floored by all the fantastic speakers and just the incredible energy of everyone around me. I had my classes and internship at Pragmatics and was delighted to see those familiar faces at SQL Saturday. I met other attendees who had come from Orlando and Tampa too. Everyone was kind and receptive and I was very impressed. The seminars were incredibly informative and I learned something new (and necessary) from all that I attended, particularly “Back that Thang Up!” I had a notebook and filled it up with pages of info as the day progressed. Honestly, I would’ve loved to attend even more seminars, but often, there were two seminars that I wanted to attend that were scheduled concurrently. Of course, all this means is that I’ll be attending another SQL Saturday in the near future.
