12/7/2009 by AdamJorgensen  -  Comments: 0  -  Views: [2183]

When working with Analysis Services, you will often run into the same warnings over and over as you are developing. You may want to dismiss those in lieu of future development and to clear up your build output results. These should be dismissed carefully since they are there to help you. If you wish to manage these more effectively check out this location. Right Click on the project in solution explorer and click Edit Database. Then go to the warnings tab and you can DeSelect warnings to trip wh...

Verizon Wireless and Data Integration FAIL

12/7/2009 by AdamJorgensen  -  Comments: 0  -  Views: [1324]

I recently was working with a client and as sometimes happens, I could not get on their network. Not a problem, I understand in today’s day and age of security and not allowing shampoo on airplanes etc, that roving laptops on networks are not a good idea. I went to the Verizon store that night and purchased a new MiFi, one of their new wireless broadband devices and let me tell you, it works great. I had a bit of a problem with the device though, as happens in today’s electronic times, and it wo...
