The code for the batch files will start all of your services and then there is a second file that will stop them. The code is as follows <Start Services File> NET START "MsSqlServer" ...

Find Ultimate Parent at any Level From Any Level

2/23/2010 9:52:37 PM by AdamJorgensen   -   2 Comments   -   Views: 129

Recently I got a forum question that I thought would be a good blog entry for others to share. The question was “Adam, Is there a way to get the ultimate parent of a member when you have no idea what level it is at, how many levels separate it from the ultimate parent? Will just adding a large levels parameter value be valid even if that value is greater than the actual levels?” To Find the parent at any specific level, you can not only use member functions such as parent, prevmember, etc.., but...

Why doesn’t my Intellisense work?

2/23/2010 9:56:06 AM by AdamJorgensen   -   0 Comments   -   Views: 100

After yesterdays’ webinar, we got a lot of great feedback and questions. Once of the more common questions was around intellisense, getting it to work and why some folks don’t have it, even though they are running SQL 2008.
