Creating document map

This is one of the best property which can be set easily in SSRS-2008

when you have thousands of records, you want see the pericular row for the known column then document map helps greatly.

steps

1)

in your report right click on the Details in Row Details tab and select Group Properties as shown in this picture

2)

In Group properties window click on Advanced tab

 in document map dropdown select the column which you want , as shown in this picture.  click ok

3) click preview and select the row which you want to see as shown in this picture
